Pair of very fine carved Chinese white jade bowls on stands.
Each with flared sides rising to a beveled mouth rim, raised on a low splayed foot ring, the translucent stone of an even white-celadon tone with areas of opaque mottling. The design is well-proportioned, the Jade is fine and exquisite, the carving is smooth, finely polished, with a moist milky appearance. Presented elegantly on perfectly fitted carved hardwood high stands.
