Chinese reversed red underglaze peony plate with floral ornamentation etched into the slip to show the base color of the clay. The central interior carved with peonies foliate, surrounded on rim with four compromising flowers. The exterior with Utpala, the night lotus half blooms. All reserved in ox-blood-red served background with the decoration motif remain white underglazed.

The underside remain unglazed, reveal the pale-creme base with spotting grayish dark-brown firing marks.
