Fine Cobalt Blue Underglazed Chinese porcelain brush pot, having straight cylindrical body, with wide opening and flat base. The exterior hand painted in cobalt blue design depicted dense of gourd abundant with its scrolling twigs and foliage, all against deep cobalt blue ground. The underside left unglazed showing pale-creme with strikes of firing spots, having receded white glazed circle on the center.

Mark on base, six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
