This is a vintage 1972 authorized/original MGM released poster of the Wizard of Oz. This poster was part of a limited release of 344 to be displayed in theaters, and as you can see, this one is numbered 72/344 in the front right bottom corner and stamped R72/344 on the back. As you can see, this colorful poster depicts the beloved main characters from the movie beneath the caption: "We're off to see the Wizard the Wonderful…Wizard of Oz." I would say that this poster has a great aesthetic for its age (43 years old), but it does have a number of condition issues of note if you look closely at it -- namely, as you can see: there are some tiny holes along the upper fold line; it appears that the edges of the poster got wet at some point; when looking at the back, you can see some discoloration (which does not show through to the front); and finally, it appears that the upper margin of the poster was cut down a bit (1 1/4") (the original size was 27" x 41;" this piece is 27" x 39 3/4.") Please note, this item is being shown in the frame for display purposes, it is being sold and will be shipped without the frame. All of that being said, this original re-release poster of the beloved classic still has a great aesthetic appeal and is only one of 344 that were released, so this is a great chance to pick up this rare poster. I am confident that with some clever matting, you could easily conceal the water marks on the edges.
