A stunning vintage rubellite tourmaline cocktail ring, in 14K gold, circa 1970's - 1980's. The beautiful solitaire, rectangular cut, tourmaline, measuring approximately 1.76 carats, has been bezel set in a bold 14 karat yellow gold setting. The gem is a rich pinkish red hue, has strong saturation, medium tone, superb clarity and brilliance. The ring is in excellent condition showing only general signs of wear. It weighs approximately 8.86 grams and is U.K ring size P 1/2 ( U.S ring size 8). It is not marked but tested positive for 14kt gold. Regal!
