The full-page map in the text is "Map of the Upper Geyser Region." The folding map is "Map of the Yellowstone National Park," measuring 31.5x25 cm, with small inset map of the region surrounding the park. Laid in is a folding brochure advertising views available from F. Jay Haynes. This also contains the two maps which appear in the book. The brochure has some soiling and wear. Ownership rubberstamp and signature of A.A. Denny, Seattle, to the front free endpaper. This would be Arthur A. Denny, author of "Pioneer Days on Puget Sound," 1888, an account of his first ten years on Puget Sound, from 1851 to 1861.
