Circa 1825, each signed to underside ''Feuillet'' for maker Jean Pierre Feuillet (1777-1840 French), each surmounted by a wide dish-form removable gilt porcelain bobeche over a baluster-form body, all-over gilt with palmettes and classical motifs and hand painted with floral bouquets on a cobalt ground, over a stepped circular foot, 2 pieces, each: 23.5'' H x 7.75'' Dia., est: $5000/7000

Condition
Overall good condition, with general minor scuffs and scratches commensurate with age. Each with more extensive scratches, rubbed wear and wax accumulation to gilt-painted bobeche. One with an approximately .5'' x .5'' area of restoration and corresponding overpaint to body; the other with an approximately 1'' x .5'' repaired chip to rim of mouth.
