Description
Comprises: 1.) Red, white, and blue vertically striped ribbon with gilt-stamped text "Fifth Annual / Convention of the National Republican League / Buffalo, N.Y. / September 15, / Alternate." Bears a vignette at bottom depicting a lion with the year "1892" across its side. Features a celluloid portrait of Harrison at center affixed by a U.S. flag applique. Retains "T" pin on verso 2.) Two-tier satin ribbon with gold thread tassel trim at the bottom of each tier. Bears silver stamped text "East End / Republican / Club." Top tier bears silver-stamped vignette of a five-pointed star between crossed lances with federal eagle below. Features pin-back brass frame hanger with portrait of Harrison at center and sides gilt-stamped "Harrison" at left and "Reid" at right.
Condition
Stripped ribbon bears toning, few light stains and fraying at bottom edge. Two-tier ribbon bears toning and soiling. Dimensions: Stripped ribbon - 9.50 " H x 2.50 " W. Two-tier ribbon - 8.75 " H x 3.00 " W.
