Present in the photograph are Senator Leverett Saltonstall, Secretary of the Interior Stewart Udall, and Senator A. Willis Robertson. Reverse bears rubber stamp "White House / March 26 1962 / Abbie Rowe" as well as "7118-A". Accompanied by a type written letter signed "Pierre Salinger" and inscribed to Dr. York, which accompanied the photograph along with several copies of a related document "Public Law 87-39" authorizing the Secretary of the Treasury to sell bronze duplicates of the medal.
