Description

A large Antique 19th century c. Framed Maritime Gouache. The painting is on very heavy paper and is signed. We can see the first name Chas but the last name is illegible. The painting depicts 2 very early steam ships being tossed about on rough seas. There is some age appropriate crazing to the paint, and a fold to one side where the signature is, it is framed under glass to protect it. The Painting measures 26x14 and in the frame 33 1/2 x22x1". Weight is 7 pds 5 oz.
