Description

Antique Figural Violin Case Traveling Inkwell. These figural traveling inkwells are getting hard to find, especially in this condition. This one is in the shape of a violin case, complete with a little handle. Covered in burgundy leather. A button on the front pushes to open the violin case lid. The ink bottle has a spring loaded lid which works perfectly. A pen wipe is also included. This inkwell appears to never have been used, as the pen wipe is still bright and unstained. The ink bottle is also unstained.Measures 3 1/4" long, by 1 3/8" wide at its widest and 1 1/4" high (not counting the handle). Wt. 2.3 oz. PROVENANCE: A Charleston SC Private Estate.
