Green Nephrite Jade three dimensional expertly executed carving of a full featured coiled dragon sitting atop a contiguous oval shaped base. When it was acquired by our consignor the seller stated the piece was a palace piece that was most likely Quanlong era Ching Dynasty and was a head hair piece. Super fine example. Actually more green than in the photos. The photos were taken under intense light and show the magnificent translucency. In original uncleaned condition with hand and hair oils still present.
