Description
6th century BC and later. A group of items consisting of a carved architectural element in the form of a five petalled flower in a roundel; a South East Asian bowl with dark blue painted decoration to the exterior in the form of a lotus flower and band of scrolling plants to the rim, interior with flower pattern to the centre and thin band of plant design to the rim; and also a museum replica head of a Levantine female with recessed eyes and eyebrows, curls of hair to the brow. 1.14 kg, 9-15cm (3 1/2 - 6") Ex Kinnard collection, Oxford, UK, formed in the early 1980s; thence by decent 2015.
