Early dry chrome yellow & blue paint, over original green. Pine, maple & iron, circa 1850, New England. Tapered "dovetailed" staves, lap banded, inset chamfered bottom, iron bail handle with maple lozenge handgrip. Copper nail & wood tack joinery. Early small loss, underside rim band, small sliver loss, one stave. Tight construction.
