A selection of marked Staffordshire black basalt from a variety of factories, circa 1800, comprising: an H. Palmer, Hanley urn and cover moulded in relief with putti, 22.5cm high; an E, mayer bamboo-moulded oval sugar box and cover; another Mayer sugar box and cover; , a Keeling Toft & Co. engine-turned round sugar box and cover with 'widow' finial; a Neale & Co. faux bois oval teapot and cover; a Turner pedestal jug moulded in relief with putti, 15cm high; another smaller Turner jug and an E. Mayer example, all with impressed marks Provenance: The Geoffrey Oxborrow Collection.
