Carved and polychrome ivory figure of flower sellers mounted on carved wood base with small inlay red lacquer plaque with chop marks (tsuishu). Circa 1868-1912, Meiji period. MEASUREMENTS: 8-1/2" x 5" x 8-1/4" high with base. CONDITION: Minor wear consistent with handling and age including toning. Bamboo pole loose.
