Andre-Vincent Becquerel (1893-1981, France) pr. marble and bronze bookends, one with a terrier on its hind legs peering over a wall, the other of a hound dog rearing back and looking up at a cat seated on the wall, both on green marble bases which are inscribed “Becquerel”, one inscribed by the foundry “Etling, Paris”. 7.5 in. high and 8.75 in. high x 3.25 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
