British School, late 19th century. "Glistening Sails", reverse painted on glass (verre églomisé) with mother of pearl accents, apparently unsigned. Marine or seascape painting depicting a tall, elegant sailboat afloat on dark seas with mother of pearl accents creating glistening moonlight effect to sails, with inscription to verso "Lister and Co Manningham". Framed approximately 32.25" x 20.75". Sight approximately 23.5" x 11.75".
