Licio Zanetti (Italian, 20th century), circa 1970s. A blown glass figure of a perching cockatoo having a thick, white flowing crest and black beak over the swollen body to elongated pointed and curling tail, all decorated in pulled purple with white bands on colorless blown glass, resting on a polished brass perch and terminating on a scalloped black glass base. Etched signature to the top of glass base "Zanetti, Licio" as well as sticker of retailer "HAND MADE IN ITALY/ULTIMA/CRYSTAL ART/ MIAMI, FL 33127". Approximate height 21.75", base diameter 8".

Pitting and oxidation to brass perch. Glass bird is intact with no damage or repairs noted. Scratches to the underside of glass base commensurate with age and contact with surface.
