After Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987),"Brillo Soap Pads"-1970. An exhibition poster (silkscreen) for the n exhibition poster (silkscreen) for the Pasadena Art Museum (American, founded 20th century) after the original by noted American pop artist Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987) announcing the exhibition of the Warhol's work. Pop art print with iconic "Brillo Soap Pads" advertisement as interpreted by Warhol, with inscription to lower margin "Pasadena Art Museum 12 May - 21 June 1970." 30" x 25.825".
Condition
Overall very good condition. Print is not lined. Minor ding noted to lower left quadrant (pressure from recto); more noticeable from verso. Extremely minor printing imperfections scattered throughout; not distracting and original to piece. Very light curling to upper quads commensurate with having been previously rolled. Overall image demonstrates plastic corners holding piece to supporting foam board; not indicative of damage. No tears, creases, pinholes or stains noted.
