A unique Neoclassical style giltwood, gesso and polychrome wall mirror with half round looking glass, the mirror frame topped with large eagle with lightning bolt crest, frame with stepped cornice, cornice with acanthus leaf and egg and dart friezes, frame with gilt columnar elements flanking looking glass and supporting arched frieze, arched frieze with three low relief five-point stars and two laurel wreaths with berries, arch interior with coffering and rosettes, columns with lappet and egg and dart capital, with ribbed shafts. Apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 58.925" x 32.5" x 7.25".
