An enlarged weapons pod miniature model featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Way of the Warrior". This enlarged exterior model section was used for close-up shots of the extending weapons pod for the episode. The tall pylon is part of the inner-circle ring of the space station, where the pod was designed to be extended and rotated with motion control visual effects equipment on set. This rare model piece gives a close-up look at how model miniatures were used to create the special effects seen on screen. This item measures 39" x 27" and comes in its own production-made crate.
