A Mid Century David-Andersen Winnaess Design Sterling Enamel Norway Bracelet. Triple width of white enamel quatrefoils with black "pearl" domed enamel centers, each panel of three linked to the next to encircle the wrist. Made of gold finished (vermeil) sterling silver with luminous guilloche enamel. Exquisite, and finely made. Bracelet Inside Circumference: 7 1/4", Bracelet Width: 1 9/32". Weight is 50 grams. This classic design of quatrefoil elements is by Willy Winnaess for David-Andersen of Norway, first introduced in the late 1950s.The design was also featured in an original David Andersen catalog page dated 1962, this bracelet is shown in it's three width variations, along with earrings and two necklace variations, all done in this enamel quatrefoil design. The box clasp is in perfect working order and is signed D-A 925S Sterling Norway" along with the David-Andersen scales mark and the Willy Winnaess designer mark of a stylized "W" in a circle.
