Nomura Yoshimitsu was a Japanese artist belonged to the Kyoto school of the shin-hanga ("New Prints") art movement. This movement was influenced by European Impressionism and its imagery focused on landscapes, women and nature. Yoshimitsu was born into a long line of artists, dating back to the ukiyo-e movement of the 19th century.

Condition
Fine impression and color. Tape stain in upper corners from original mounting and remnants of linen tape to the back. Overall, the print is in very good condition.
