Description
Shiro Kasamatsu was a Japanese artist during the early 20th century whose work focused on landscape painting. He designed many woodblock prints over the span of his career, but several were lost in the 1923 Kanto earthquake and consequently they are very rare. His work is known for its simplicity and expressiveness.
