Description
Trio of multicolor glaze, animal form, porcelain scholars items from the 19th century. Each piece has a glaze of blue, green, yellow, and aubergine. One water dropper is in the form of a horse, one brush washer is sculpted with a bat and a chilong along the rim, and one water dropper is in the form of a dog.
Dimensions range from 4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high to 6 1/8 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: They are in good overall condition. There is a small portion of the chilong that has chipped off.
Provenance: From a Chicago estate; the proprietor resided in Hong Kong from 1950-1960.
