Description
Three white ground famille rose cups from the 19th Century. Two cups are a matching pair with scenes of a woman and children playing in a garden. They each have gilt rims and red maker's marks on the bottoms. Their dimensions are 3 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high. The third cup also has a gilt rim and depicts people at a festival with a dragon on its sides. It has a slightly flared lip and has a maker's mark on the bottom. Dimensions are 3 3/4 inches wide by 2 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: They are in good condition with signs of age. One cup has a small chip in the rim.
Provenance: From a Chicago estate; the proprietor resided in Hong Kong from 1950-1960.
