Description
Tin covered Zisha teapot with a jade spout, handle, and lid handle from the early 19th Century. The teapot is square with the top portion curving in a half moon form. One side is incised with leaves and a bird while the other is incised with a poem. The interior of the teapot is brownish red clay and a Yang Peng Nian seal mark is on the bottom of the interior.
Dimensions are 5 1/4 inches wide by 5 3/8 inches high. Dimensions include handles and spouts where applicable. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good overall condition with some signs of wear due to age and some rough edges on the lid's jade handle.
