Description
A BACCARAT CRYSTAL "RAMSÈS IV" FIGURAL PERFUME BOTTLE, FOR PARFUMS RAMSES, SIGNED, CIRCA 1919, designed by Julian Viard (French 1883-1938), the frosted crystal flacon molded as a portrait bust representing the head of an Egyptian sphinx, mounted by a later mustard yellow silk cord and tassel atomizer, raised on an integral clear crystal foot reversing to an early Baccarat circular acid etch marked base. Height: 5" Diameter: 2 3/4"
Condition
In good condition, with no large chips, cracks or repairs. Vintage atomizer appears to be in good working condition with brown patina around the mount collar and spray nozzle. Base significantly scratched, but Baccarat mark still visible. Bottle emptied of perfume. Clearly and correctly marked.
