Description
A FEDERAL PERIOD PARQUETRY INLAID FLAME MAHOGANY CUTLERY BOX, POSSIBLY PHILADELPHIA, LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY, with a slanted serpentine bow front hinged lid, enclosed by ebonized double line and satinwood parquetry trim, above conforming sides and opening to the lid interior centering a various woods detailed circular stylized fan, over a panel with rows of cutlery slots. Height: 12 1/4" Width: 8" Depth: 9 5/8"
Condition
