During the 1960s Emile Albert Charles and his sons developed the so-called ‘Charles-style’, a mixture of neoclassicism, precision and modern elements that represented a new approach to lighting and furnishing. Their work included a series of lamps, inclusive the ‘Palmier’, which is today among the classics of the house.
Condition:
The lamps are in good condition. The lampshades are partially rubbed; 1 shade shows partial stronger scratches. 1 crater with a small dent. Both lamps are electrified and in during inhouse test fully functional. No guarantee on functionality. The height is 78 cm. The diameter of 34.5 cm each.
