A cultured pearl, enamel and gem-set pendant. Designed as a blue topaz, within a plique-a-jour foliate surround, with marcasite highlights and cultured pearl surmount. May be worn as a brooch. Length 5.2cms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

Blue topaz light blue, with moderate saturation, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

Topaz, marcasite and enamel in good condition with minor abrasions.

Cultured pearl white, with slight green overtones and fair lustre.

Stamped 925.

Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
