Description
After Mahlon Blaine (American, 1894-1969) Miniature Room. Gouache paintings on black boards, mounted on heavy boards to form a room. Executed by designer and architect Paul Ritter MacAlister (1901-1990), based on the original Mahlon Blaine maquettes for murals to be installed in the lobby of a New York building designed by MacAlister in 1939. They were created under Blaine's pseudonym 'G. Christopher Hudson' and this model of the lobby was made by MacAlister in the 1970's 8.75" x 21" x 5.25"
