The marquise-shape opal cabochon, with graduated old-cut diamond line sides and brilliant-cut diamond fringe, suspended from a similarly-set surmount and trace-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct. Length of pendant 4.8cms. Length of chain 40cms. Weight 7.3gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

Opals white with good play-of-colour showing a range of hues with some vivid reds and greens.

Marquise-shape opal panel shows crazing obvious to the naked eye, with transmitted light.

Diamonds well matched.

Diamonds bright.

Most diamonds show no obvious inclusions under magnification, some diamonds show small light and dark coloured inclusions under magnification.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
