Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE, purportedly found in Britain. Exceptionally rare iron short sword Gladius or Semi-Spatha. Long tapered blade with tip nearly pointed, extended tang with the pommel at the end missing. Custom stand. Size: 19" L x 1.75" W (48.3 cm x 4.4 cm)
