Eastern Greek to Persian empires, ca. 5th to 4th century BCE. Bronze pail or situla with short foot, bulbous midsection, thinning neck and attached thin rim with two attached bird finials acting as attachments for the bronze handle. An attractive example for little money! Size: 6.25" W x 7.5" H (15.9 cm x 19 cm)
