An Outing by a River, signed lower left "Alfred Kirstein", oil on canvas, 36-1/4 x 48-1/2 in.; fine original gilt wood and composition frame,. Condition: original stretcher and tacking edge, yellowed varnish, crackle; frame with some losses to composition. Notes: Alfred Kirstein exhibited a watercolor in the 1913 Armory Show.
