Description
Offered are two unusual souvenir salt-and-pepper sets from the 1939 New York World's Fair. Both utilizethe shapes of the Trylon and Perisphere, the most prominent features of the fair. The heavy metal set was made by Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co. and measures 4-1/2" wide x 3-1/8" deep and 3-1/2" high; the patina could use some TLC but we are leaving that up to its new owner. The blueand whiteporcelain set was made in Japan and is 5" wide, 2-1/2" deep and 3-5/8" high.
