Description
The purpose of these 2 posters was to get people, including servicemen, to register and to vote. They used comic strip characters, Dagwood and Blondie and Dick Tracy, and were drawn by their creators, Chic Young and Chester Gould. They were printed by the Government Printing Office in 1972. One measures approximately 17" tall x 8-1/2" "wide and the other 13" wide x 18" high and are both in excellent condition. Great timing for the upcoming election.
