Description
These are a fine pair of ca. 1895-1905, triple stilt fired, blended / drip glazed yellow-ware pottery milk pitchers / jugs. Most of the great American potters of the late 19th & early 20th centuries produced such forms. Although unmarked, these with the green and brown blended glaze are often attributed to Roseville. Each measures 8x5.5x7.25. Weight combined is 6 pds. One with small nick to spout. PROVENANCE: The Estate of a Litchfield Connecticut Antique & Art Dealer.
