Description
Two Edwardian 9ct gold and gem-set pendants. Each of openwork design, the first designed as a split pearl bow, with foliate detail, the second designed as a oval-shape garnet-topped-doublet, mother-of-pearl and split-pearl circular-shape pendant. One split pearl deficient. Lengths 3.7 and 3.7cms. Weight 5gms.
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Split-pearls vary in appearance, some are creamy-white some are slightly greyish-silver with muted to fair lustre. Garnet topped doublets have a medium pinkish-red with moderate lustre, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions. Stones in mostly fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. One garnet-topped-doublet had a more significant chip to one end. Both stamped 9ct.
