Description
Moser(Bohemian, founded 1857) and James Walker Tufts (American, 1835-1902, late 19th century. A Victorian rubina glass and quadruple plate celery vase, the glass, attributed to Moser, with scalloped edge and decorated in enamel with birds and colorful flowers having an inverted thumbprint pattern and resting in silver base with beaded and foliate scrolled handles on a shaped base decorated with foliage. The vase apparently unmarked. The silver holder hallmarked to the underside "JAMES W. TUFTS BOSTON WARRANTED QUADRUPLE PLATE 457". Approximate height 7.75".
