Description
Continental (German and French), 19th/20th century. Collection of two silver footed creamers comprising of a larger German 800 silver creamer with scrolled C scrolled border on top of hammered shell form body, scrolled acanthus leaf ornamented handle, surmounting four flared feet with floral encrusted knees, marked on underside with "800" beside crown and crescent moon mark (Halbmond and Krone); and a smaller footed creamer with imbricated scales or petals on bulbous pitcher form body, scrolled handle, surmounting three scrolled legs with figural winged cherubs on knees, illegibly marked on bottom, obscured mark on interior of rim. Imbricated creamer approximate height 3.4". Total weight approximately 7.87 troy ounces.
