CHINA, REPUBLIC PERIOD
A nice Republic period wucai decorated tea pot. The body of the teapot is decorated with dragons in iron red, green and yellow with blue underglaze highlights. The teapot is adorned with a full figure Dragon handle and figural spout. The teapot sits on a finely carved cylindrical base, with sharp exact glaze line meeting the unglazed smooth foot. Six character Wanli mark but from Republic period.Measures 6" tall by 7" long by 6" diameter.

Condition
There is a small chip to top head of dragon spout, a small glaze fleck to side of yellow dragon on handle, otherwise overall very good condition.
