Description
A 19th Century Meissen Porcelain Teapot. Turquoise and white alternating ground with painted scenes of courting couples on either side. Body is decorated with vertical bands of parcel geometric gilding. Turquoise panels are entirely decorated with floral blossoms. Meissen mark bears a slash through it 4.5" x 7.5" x 4.5"
Condition
There is light rubbing to the gilt at the handle and the spout. There may also be one pin-tip sized nick to the floiate finial. Otherwise this piece is in overall very good condition
