(lot of 2) Ntomo mask, Bamana, Mali, probably made in the 1950s-60s, traditionally with domed forehead, six straight horns upwards, incised cheeks, long nose, dry wood; together with a decorative and oversized mask with no signs of use, probably Urhobo or Ijaw, Southern Nigeria, probably an early Tourist piece, largest: 24"l. Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisitions fund of a Californian Museum.
