The Large 20th Century Chinese gilt bronze and cloisonne enamel Herons effigy candle holder are cast in model of standing herons, each having a pair of herons standing elegantly standing upon a rock-work. The taller heron faces slightly upward holding a sprays of sacred LingZhi fungus terminating a trumpet shaped container with threading pin, its tall legs extending straightly on the rock; while the next heron faces its shoulder, with one legs slightly bended. All legs generously covered with extensive gilt. The rock-work pedestal densely decorated with colorful floral against turquoise-blue enamel ground. The pair of sculptures have mirrored image. The cloisonne works have been done expertly detailing all elements including the head, ruyi, feathers, and rock-works pedestal.

Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear. Over all in excellent condition.
