Black wool broadcloth tailcoat with stand collar, deep cuff, heavily decorated with padded gold appliquÃ© and embroidery of pawlownia flowers with gold sequins and rosettes, gilt buttons having government seal of Japan over hook & eye closures, quilted silk lining. Button fly trousers with gold passementerie side stripes. Labeled "Tailor Tomita Torinichome, Tokio". C-38, Sh-17, Slv- 23, L-38, trouser W-31, Inseam-28. (Broken metallic threads, particularly on cuffs, minor losses, passementerie unstitched on one leg) good.
