The large Chinese celestial vase is stoutly potted in globular body, gently rounded sides, with columnar neck toward slightly wider rim, brightly painted in various tones and shades of cobalt blue around the exterior with nine five-clawed dragons borne on meandering flames and clouds between bands of cresting wavy waves, all supported on a receded flat base. The porcelain vase elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood stand. The foot rim revealed pale-creme ground with darker spots of firing marks.

Mark on base, a seal mark, of six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing.
