This lot is for a fantastic piece of 1960's Ivy League Football Original Art. The piece has beautiful renderings of the Yale, Dartmouth, Princeton, Penn, and Harvard. (Brown is just identified as a pile of bones) This piece is an original piece of art by Vic Johnson who was a very well known artist for the Boston Herald Newspaper. This is a pretty large piece of art, measuring 15 inches by 14 inches, and is signed by Johnson. Vic Johnson was a longtime Boston sports cartoonist, who gave the Boston Red Sox - in the long interval between their pennants of 1946 and 1967 - the nickname, "The Little Rich Kids." Just a great piece of vintage original Ivy League art.
